Assistant Operations Manager – Rental Minimum Standards
You'll support the Operations Manager in running the day-to-day delivery of our rental minimum standards inspections across Melbourne — coordinating inspectors, reviewing reports before they reach the client, and keeping jobs moving on time.
You'll also be a key point of contact for landlords, tenants and property managers, so outstanding communication and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Review inspection reports for accuracy, consistency and compliance before client delivery
Act as the first point of contact for property managers and landlords, resolving queries and escalations
Provide clear recommendations to landlords, tenants and property managers
Help onboard, train and support new inspectors as the team grows
Track turnaround times and job completion,



and identify ways to improve how we work
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Residential Tenancies Regulations and updates to minimum standards
Manage competing priorities independently and keep the day running smoothly
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Experience in operations/property manager, or trades coordination
Full/current driver's licence
Reliable vehicle
Strong communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work autonomously and stay calm under pressure
Working knowledge of Victorian rental minimum standards is desirable
