The Opportunity
Join Student Services & Engagement and play a key role in enhancing the student experience at UniSC.
As the Student Communications and Events Officer, you will develop and deliver engaging student communications, support university-wide campaigns and events including Orientation, and work across a range of digital channels to ensure students receive timely, accurate and accessible information.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the University, you will contribute to initiatives that support student transition, engagement, success and retention.

You will
produce engaging student communications and digital content across channels including web, email, newsletters, the student portal and social media;
contribute to the planning, coordination and evaluation of student engagement events, including Orientation; and
support communication campaigns, digital content and knowledge resources while identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the student experience.
About you
You are a creative, organised and student-focused communications professional who can develop engaging content for diverse audiences and channels.
You communicate clearly, build strong relationships and bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality communications and events.
You will possess
A relevant degree in communications, marketing, project or event administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Demonstrated experience writing and editing engaging communications content for different audiences and channels;
Strong digital literacy, including experience with CRM, email marketing, CMS, Microsoft 365 and social media platforms;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
Excellent communication, relationship management and customer service skills; and
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use initiative and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
