The Workshop Manager plays a vital role in managing cost of goods, procurement, health and safety, and overall workshop efficiency.
You will oversee the workshop operation and report to the Chief Operations Officer.
Key responsibilities
Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables, coordinate procurement activities to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure timely delivery of products to quality standards
Monitor and control costs related to workshop operations, including labour, materials, and overhead expenses
Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime




Manage health and safety protocols including regular safety training and toolbox talks for floor staff to promote awareness and compliance with safety protocols
About you
Solid leadership and management skills
Technical expertise in workshop operations
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise and delegate effectively
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and workshop management software
Experience with procurement processes
