Hatch is seeking aSenior Environmental Consultantto strengthen our environmental services capability.
This role can be based inPerth or Adelaide.
This role will see you embedded into Engineering and EPCM projects, providing advice and guidance on environmental and permitting aspects.
We're looking for an experienced professional who can provide strong technical leadership, manage project delivery across the full lifecycle.
There will be future opportunities to expand the role to contribute to business growth through client engagement and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities
Be the lead environmental role on EPCM projects, providing senior guidance on environmental requirements for engineering and construction
Integrate into the project management structures of major projects to provide updates on progress and risk
Liaise will engineering disciplines across projects and provide input to their scopes
Consider how regulatory and international environmental constraints and requirements need to be applied to projects and apply these approaches.
Engage with clients and senior stakeholders, providing trusted technical guidance on mega and giga projects
Mentor and support junior team members across the environmental team
Future growth opportunities to support business development and the generation of proposals
About You
You are an experienced environmental professional with robust experience delivering mining or heavy industry projects across their full lifecycle.
You bring deep knowledge of regulatory approvals, environmental aspects, and integrating constraints within a consulting or engineering environment.
You consider yourself an environmental generalist with a special interest in one or more technical areas.
You value attention to detail.
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, you are equally capable of leading technical delivery, managing projects, and teaching junior members of the team.
Your collaborative approach and ability to influence multi-disciplinary teams will be key to your success in this role.
