EVENT COORDINATOR — JACK MORTON AUSTRALIA
Sydney | Fixed-term contract | ASAP – mid-December ****
Hybrid — 2 days in the office / 3 days WFH
We believe in Extraordinary.
At Jack Morton, we create experiences that get people talking, thinking, feeling and doing.
Big brand moments.
Live experiences.
Activations.
Launches.
Conferences.
Builds.
Experiences that connect brands and people in ways that actually mean something.
We've got a busy few months ahead with some exciting projects moving into production, and we're looking for a Production Coordinator to join our Sydney team through to mid-December.
That brings us to you.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an organised, proactive Event/Production Coordinator with 1–2 years' experience in events, hospitality or a similar fast-paced environment, who's ready to take the next step and build their experience in live and experiential production.
Working alongside our Producers and wider project teams, you'll support multiple projects from pre-production through to onsite delivery and wrap.
You'll help keep suppliers, schedules, logistics, documentation and budgets moving, getting exposure to all the moving parts that go into bringing ambitious creative experiences to life.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support Producers across live events, activations and experiential projects
Maintain production schedules, timelines, trackers and documentation
Source and coordinate suppliers, venues, crew and production partners
Coordinate quotes, invoices and POs and help track project costs
Assist with project budgets and reconciliations
Coordinate logistics, freight, deliveries, travel and onsite requirements
Support the delivery of builds, graphics, furniture, AV and other event elements
Liaise with our Creative, Design and Client Service teams
Coordinate supplier and venue information, deadlines and approvals
Support bump-in, live event delivery and bump-out
Keep the details moving and flag issues early
ABOUT YOU
You have 1–2 years' experience in events, hospitality, activations or a similar fast-paced environment
You're highly organised and enjoy keeping lots of moving parts on track
You're confident communicating with suppliers, venues, crew and internal teams
You have great attention to detail and are comfortable with the admin that keeps a production running
You're happy working with quotes, invoices, POs, spreadsheets and project trackers
You're practical, resourceful and not afraid to pick up the phone and get things sorted
You're comfortable working onsite and understand that event delivery can sometimes mean early starts, late finishes and weekends
You're a team player who's happy to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed
You're keen to learn more about live events, experiential production and how big creative ideas get made
Experience in an agency or production environment is a bonus, but not essential
Most importantly, you're reliable, curious and keen to get stuck in.
WHY JACK?
You'll work alongside our Production, Creative, Design, Strategy and Client Service teams on exciting projects for some of the world's best-known brands.
It's a great prospect to build your experience in experiential production, work across projects at different stages and get hands‐on experience both behind the scenes and onsite.
The role is Sydney-based and hybrid, with 2 days a week in the office and 3 days working from home, alongside onsite event requirements as projects come to life.
This is a fixed-term role starting ASAP through to mid-December ****, with the potential to lead to an extension or a full‐time role.
