We’re seeking a hands-on Head Chef to oversee the daytime food operation within a vibrant, family-focused entertainment venue in Nunawading.

This is an excellent prospect for an experienced chef looking for genuine work-life balance while retaining full ownership of a busy, quality-driven kitchen.

The Role
Lead daily kitchen operations and service
Develop an appealing, family-friendly menu
Manage ordering, food costs, stock rotation and waste
Recruit, train and develop the kitchen team
Maintain exceptional food safety and hygiene standards
Deliver consistent quality, presentation and speed
Support functions, group bookings and special events
Work closely with the venue’s leadership team

About You

You are an experienced Head Chef or accomplished Sous Chef ready to step up, with:




Robust kitchen leadership and organisational skills
Experience managing food costs, labour and inventory
A calm, hands-on approach during busy services
Sound menu development and food safety knowledge
The ability to create food that appeals to adults and children
A genuine commitment to consistency and positive team culture
