High Voltage Technical Lead - Projects & Estimating
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator & HV Technical Lead to join our team in a senior role combining electrical estimating, commercial leadership and HV technical expertise.
You will play a key role in delivering competitive tenders while leading the development of HV protection, testing, commissioning, termination and maintenance capabilities across the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead electrical estimating, tender preparation, pricing and project handovers.
Analyse drawings, specifications and scope to develop accurate, competitive estimates.
Provide commercial input on margins, risks, value engineering and delivery strategies.
Develop and improve HV protection, testing, commissioning, termination and maintenance processes.
Provide technical leadership across protection relays, CT/VT testing, primary and secondary injection, cable testing and HV commissioning.
Ensure HV activities comply with theVictorian Electrical Safety Rules (Blue Book), AS ****, AS/NZS ****and network requirements.
Lead and mentor technical teams, supporting competency, training and authorisation pathways.
Coordinate HV maintenance, outages, protection upgrades, commissioning and defect rectification.




Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors and support business development opportunities.
Drive safety, compliance, quality and continuous improvement across HV operations.
About YouYou will be an experienced electrical professional with a strong background in electrical estimating and HV systems, ideally with experience across:
Electrical estimating and tendering.
HV protection, testing and commissioning.
Protection relays, CT/VT testing and primary/secondary injection.
HV cable terminations and cable testing.
Blue Book, AS **** and AS/NZS **** requirements.
Commercial pricing, project risk and subcontractor management.
Leading and developing technical teams.
Robust communication, commercial awareness and the ability to work across project, operational and technical teams are essential.
