We're after an experienced Business Development Manager / Project Manager to lead our client growth and delivery in equal measure — someone equally comfortable opening doors with current clients as they are running a project through to a clean handover.
This is a senior, largely autonomous role.
You'll own the full cycle: identifying and winning new business, scoping and quoting solutions, and then managing delivery so what we sold is what we install.
Key responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and win new business across healthcare, commercial, and education sectors
Build and manage a pipeline of leads, tenders, and referral relationships
Develop proposals, quotes, and tender responses for integrated security solutions (CCTV, access control, alarms, intercom, BMS integration)
Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to expand scope
Represent BASE 10 at industry events, client meetings, and site visits
Work with senior leadership to shape sales strategy and targets
Take ownership of projects from award through to completion and handover
Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on time and on budget
Manage project documentation, variations, and client communication throughout delivery
Liaise with Gallagher and other technology partners on system design and integration
About you




Proven experience in business development and/or project management electronic security, related trades/technical services industry
A track record of winning and delivering commercial or institutional contracts
Comfort reading and quoting technical scopes of work (security or building services background highly regarded)
Strong relationship-building skills with the commercial instincts to close
Solid project coordination skills — budgets, timelines, subcontractors, client expectations
