About The Opportunity
WesTrac | Auto Electrician - Workshop
Join our Dubbo Workshop Team and be part of a highly skilled team delivering industry-leading electrical diagnostics, repairs and rebuild support on CAT equipment to world-class standards.
You'll take ownership of fault finding, electrical repairs, component installations and commissioning activities within our workshop, ensuring every machine leaves safe, reliable and ready for peak performance.
What You'll Do
Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical, electronic and monitoring systems on CAT machines and components
Conduct fault finding, testing and quality assurance checks using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment
Install, calibrate and commission electrical components, harnesses, sensors and control systems to OEM standards
Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workshop environment while working collaboratively with Supervisors and peers
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Automotive Electrotechnology (or equivalent)
Proven rebuilds/major component overhaul/assembly experience
CAT or comparable surface mining gear; solid diagnostics/fault‐finding
Proactive, safety‐first mindset; unrestricted driver's licence
