The Radiotherapy Service Manager position is a senior role within the Directorate Management Team, tasked with leading the operational and professional aspects of the Radiotherapy Department. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of a safe, effective, and high-quality radiotherapy service that adheres to national standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing operational and professional leadership for the radiotherapy service.

Ensuring compliance with national standards and regulatory requirements for patient care.
n
Managing service performance, workforce, budget, and resources effectively.
n
Developing and implementing policies, protocols, and service improvements.

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Radiotherapy studies or an equivalent qualification.
n




A postgraduate qualification at 'M' level or progress towards it.
n
Specialist knowledge in radiotherapy relevant to the NHS cancer agenda.
n
Experience in financial management and business planning.
n
Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for decisions.
n
Resilience under pressure and capability to handle stressful situations.
n
A strong commitment to excellence in service delivery.
n
