About The Opportunity
n
As a result of continued growth and success we are seeking an experienced Workshop Team Leader to oversee a team of service repair technicians ensuring daily operational excellence for our Milwaukee repair centre. You will need to be a strong people leader who will design and drive the implementation of continuous improvements in line with best practice.
n
Reporting directly to the QLD Service Centre Manager
n
You will be situated at our Service Centre in Carole Park, QLD and your day to day will include:
n
n
Provide coaching,



leadership and training to a team of nine service repair technicians
n
Monitor and identify trends in service workshops to drive efficiency gains
n
Monitor quality of repairs of direct reports and conduct regular performance reviews
n
Ensure compliance with all relevant acts, ethical standards and Milwaukee policies and procedures
n
Monitor quality of repair notes and act as escalation point for the team
n
Attend Product training to keep up to date with current product information.
n
Follow all Government Guidelines with Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
n
Manage the expansion and growth phase of the service hub.
n

About YOU
n
To be successful in this role you will need to have robust leadership experience and an ability to motivate and coach a small dynamic team ideally within a fast-paced environment workshop or service repair centre environment.
n
You are technically minded and enjoy working with all types of power tools and have a hands-on, can-do attitude in addition to the following:
n
n
Proactive with the ability to think ahead, encourage a team-based culture and focussed on meeting deadlines.
n
Proven experience in tool repairs, service operations and systems would be very beneficial
n
Strong communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation.
n
Able to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving.
n
A passion for leading teams to achieve operational excellence
