At ****SMILES Caloundra, we're looking for a motivated and reliable
Dental Assistant/Receptionist
to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual basis, 3 to 4 days a week.
Our practice has been part of the Caloundra community for many years, with a loyal patient base and a strong reputation for high-quality care. Conveniently located near Bulcock Beach, we're a busy, well-established clinic that prides itself on delivering a excellent patient experience and working together as a close-knit team.
You'll be joining an experienced and supportive team who genuinely enjoy what they do, creating a positive, collaborative environment where everyone pitches in and supports one another. We take pride in our culture and are committed to helping our people grow and succeed.

As a
Dental Assistant/Receptionist
, you will play a key role in supporting our clinicians and ensuring our patients have a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include:
Chairside assisting across a range of dental procedures
Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials
Maintaining sterilisation and infection control standards
Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service




Managing appointments, calls and patient enquiries
Processing payments and assisting with general reception duties
Maintaining accurate patient records
Supporting the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
We're looking for someone who is confident working in both a clinical and reception environment and enjoys having a varied role.
Ideally, you will have:
A friendly, approachable and professional manner
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and help the team
A genuine passion for patient care
The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team
A willingness to learn and develop your skills
