Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Release Manager with strong telecom domain expertise to oversee and coordinate
software/application
releases across complex telecommunications environments. The ideal candidate will manage release planning, deployment schedules, stakeholder communication, risk mitigation, and ensure seamless delivery of telecom products, platforms, and network-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

Define, manage, and execute end-to-end release management processes.
n
Coordinate release activities across development, testing, operations, infrastructure, and business teams.
n
Create and maintain release calendars and deployment schedules.
n
Ensure successful implementation of releases within agreed timelines and quality standards.
n
Manage release readiness reviews, go-live approvals, and post-release validations.
n
Identify, assess, and mitigate release-related risks and dependencies.
n
Coordinate production deployments, rollback strategies, and incident management activities.
n
Work closely with Telecom OSS/BSS, Network Operations, and Application Support teams.
n
Ensure compliance with change management and ITIL processes.
n
Prepare release documentation, deployment plans, release notes, and status reports.
n
Monitor release KPIs and continuously improve release management practices.
n




Support major transformation, migration, and telecom platform upgrade projects.
n

Required Skills

Telecom Domain
n
n
Strong understanding of Telecom OSS/BSS systems.
n
Experience with Telecom Billing, CRM, Order Management, Provisioning, and Mediation systems.
n
Knowledge of Mobile Networks (4G/5G), Fixed Line, Broadband, and Digital Services platforms.
n
Familiarity with telecom service delivery and operational processes.
n

Expertise in Release & Change Management processes.
n
Experience managing large-scale enterprise or telecom application releases.
n
Robust knowledge of deployment planning and release governance.
n
Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.

Required Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Telecommunications,
or related field.

8+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Release Management.
n
Telecom industry experience is mandatory.
n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
Experience managing multiple concurrent releases in complex environments.
