Role Overview
We're looking for a mid-level Business Analyst (around 3–5 years' experience) to join our Greater Brisbane team.
The role is full-time and primarily on-site, with some hybrid flexibility.
You'll work closely with client and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring they align with organisational goals and the capabilities of Rapid Platform's solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Translate business needs into clear specifications for configuration and implementation
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders across client and internal teams
Prepare functional documentation and process maps
Collaborate with technical teams to support solution design, testing, and deployment
Support change management activities, including user training and ongoing support
Contribute to continuous improvement of both client systems and internal practices




QualificationsRequired
3–5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and solution documentation
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making
Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and present complex information clearly
Experience managing business requirements throughout a project lifecycle, including prioritisation and traceability
Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic workplace
Preferred / Advantageous
Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) and no-code or low-code platforms
Familiarity with agile or iterative delivery methodologies
Basic project coordination experience
Exposure to BA tooling such as Visio, Jira, or Azure DevOps
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other formal analysis methodology
A degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
