About The Role
n
As an Accounts Administration Officer, you will provide high-level administrative, financial, and operational support to ensure the smooth running of organisational processes. You will play a key role in supporting participant onboarding, funding management, invoicing, payroll, compliance, and financial reporting while maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional customer service.
n
Your Responsibilities May Include
n
Participant Onboarding and Funding
n
n
Facilitating the onboarding of new participants, including account setup and completion of required documentation
n
Interpreting NDIS plans and maintaining participant funding records
n
Monitoring participant budgets and funding utilisation
n
Liaising with participants, stakeholders, and internal teams regarding NDIS funding and supports
n
Responding to enquiries relating to participant accounts and funding arrangements
n
n
Financial Administration
n
n
Preparing and monitoring budgets for supported accommodation services
n
Processing and reconciling invoices, payments, and financial transactions
n
Tracking participant funding utilisation and preparing financial reports
n
Monitoring organisational cash flow and financial performance
n
Supporting accurate financial record keeping and reporting
n
n
Invoicing, Claiming and Reconciliation
n
n
Preparing and lodging NDIS claims through PRODA
n
Processing participant invoices and financial transactions
n
Monitoring outstanding accounts and following up discrepancies
n
Reconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements
n
Supporting teams to meet invoicing deadlines
n
n
Payroll Administration
n
n
Managing timesheet collation and payroll processing
n
Supporting employees and managers to meet payroll deadlines
n
Maintaining accurate payroll records
n
Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation and Award requirements
n
n
Communication and Stakeholder Liaison
n
n
Providing clear and accurate information regarding accounts, funding, and invoicing
n
Supporting collaboration between finance, operations, rostering, and service delivery teams
n
Building positive relationships with participants, staff, and external stakeholders
n
Delivering a high standard of customer service
n
n
Systems, Reporting and Continuous Improvement
n
n
Utilise accounting, payroll, and Microsoft Office systems effectively, including Xero, Employment Hero, and Budgetly where applicable.
n
Maintaining accurate records and reporting systems
n
Producing financial reports and operational data
n
Using accounting, payroll, and Microsoft Office systems effectively
n
Supporting organisational compliance and audit requirements
n

About You
n

Minimum two years' experience in a finance, billing, accounts, or payroll role within the NDIS or disability sector.

Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience within the NDIS sector.
n

Essential Requirements
n

Sound understanding of payroll processes and current SCHADS Award requirements.
n
Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
n
Proficiency with accounting, payroll, and expense management systems
n
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office capability
n
Sound understanding of payroll and timesheet processes
n
Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
n
National Police Check
n
Current Australian Driver Licence
n
Valid and unrestricted Australian work rights
n
Ability to work remotely and attend office locations as required
n
Access to a reliable internet connection and computer
n
n
Desirable Qualifications And Experience
n
n
Experience in a finance, billing, or accounts role within the NDIS or disability sector
n
Knowledge of NDIS funding, pricing arrangements, and claiming requirements
n
Experience using Xero, Employment Hero, and Budgetly
n
Proficiency in NDIS claiming through the myplace provider portal (PRODA) and understanding of NDIS legislation and funding arrangements.
n
Experience processing payroll under the SCHADS Award
n
Familiarity with NDIS claiming through the myplace provider portal (PRODA)
n
Understanding of GST and BAS processing
n
Knowledge of NDIS legislation and funding arrangements
n
