SAP Inventory/Supply Chain Master Data Analyst

An opportunity is available for an experienced SAP Inventory Analyst/Supply Chain Master Data Analyst to join a Newcastle-based operation supporting critical inventory, purchasing and master data activities.
n
This role will suit a hands-on professional with a blend of SAP Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Master Data and Data Analytics expertise. We are open to candidates currently working as a Project Coordinator, Inventory Analyst or Senior Inventory Analyst who enjoy working across business functions and driving data quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Extract, validate and analyse inventory and purchasing data from SAP
n
Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reporting
n
Monitor inventory and MRP exceptions and drive corrective actions through to closure
n
Support inventory reconciliations, data validation and data cleansing activities
n
Coordinate activities across Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data teams
n
Deliver ad hoc analysis and BAU inventory support
n




Assist with process improvement initiatives and data governance activities
n
n
Required Experience
n
n
Hands-on SAP Supply Chain, Materials Management or Inventory Management experience
n
Strong understanding of inventory processes and master data principles
n
Advanced Excel capability including complex analysis and reporting
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to coordinate stakeholders across multiple business functions
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Mining, resources or heavy industry experience
n
Exposure to MRO inventory environments
n
Experience supporting data cleansing, inventory optimisation or SAP improvement initiatives
n
n
