Your Opportunity
n
As a Washbay Operator you will be responsible for working to tight timelines preparing and cleaning client equipment to agreed service and quality standards, while actively collaborating with the broader operations team to continually improve the service delivery to our customers operatingin a customs and quarantine-controlled environment.
n
What you will be doing
n
n
Washing and cleaning imported machinery and other items according to AQIS procedures.
n
Using appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and equipment to achieve high-quality results.
n
Maintaining and operating wash bay equipment properly and safely.
n
Keeping work area clean and organised at all times.
n
Adhering to environmental regulations regarding the disposal of cleaning agents and waste.
n
Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment.
n
Supporting site safety requirements .
n




Actively leading and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
n
Other washbay operations tasks as required.
n

To become a Qube Logistics Washbay Operator you will need to have the following:
n
n
Previous experience as a Wash Bay Operator is desirable
n
A valid forklift license not essential
n
Clear verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to work in tight and hard to reach spaces.
n
Ability to work autonomously and work to strict deadlines.
n
Positive work ethic.
n
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
n
Commitment for continuous learning and development
n
Valid drivers Licence and reliable transport is required
n

Additional information

We will provide all relevant onsite training.
n
Willingness to complete a Fitness to Work Medical, including Alcohol and Drug Screening.
