About The Role
n
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to support our Melbourne Branch.
n
Key Duties & Responsibilities
n
n
Pre Delivery of New, Used and Hire units and fitting of attachments and accessories as required
n
Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
n
Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
n
Assist the Field Service team at customer sites when required.
n
n
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills
n
n
Current Manual Driver's licence.
n
Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic).
n
Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage.
n
Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.
n
n
Can Demonstrate
n
n
Good diagnostic and repair skills.
n
Solid work ethic and self-motivation.
n
Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
n
Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
n




Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
n
Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
n
