As a classroom teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a holistic education, including:

Creating a nurturing, learner-centred, safe, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum requirements, policies, and best practice;
n
Effective planning, implementation and reviewing of learning programs;
n
Maintaining professional standards as defined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers;
n
Managing student behaviour effectively within the classroom and wider school community; and
n
Provide care that is physically, emotionally, psychologically and culturally safe and take all reasonable steps to protect children from exposure to harm;
n




Adhering to and upholding the School's Code of Conduct, as outlined in the Code of Conduct for Anglican Schools and Education & Care Services.

Skills and Experiences:
n
ABOUT YOU:
n
You will have relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience as well as:
n
n
Qualified Teacher, registered with, or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers,
n
Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice, and engagement.
n
Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
n
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and organisational skills.
n
Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people.
n
Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, parents, and carers to achieve the best outcomes for students.
n
Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and Anglican ethos of the School.
n
