The Opportunity As a Consultant General Physician, you will provide specialist medical services across inpatient, outpatient and consultative settings, supporting the delivery of high-quality,



patient-centred care to the Gippsland community.

You will work closely with a collaborative team of Physicians, Junior Medical Officers, Nursing staff and Allied Health professionals to manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
n
Key Responsibilities Include
n

Providing specialist General and Internal Medicine services
n
Conducting inpatient ward rounds and outpatient clinics
n
Delivering consultative services across the hospital
n
Participating in multidisciplinary care planning
n
Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff and physician trainees
n
Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
n
Participating in teaching, education and continuing professional development activities
n
Supporting regional outreach and integrated models of care where appropriate
n
n
