As our JCB operations continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team based out of Welshpool, WA.
n
This is a great opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technician looking to build their career working across the JCB equipment range.
n
About The Role
n
This is a hands‐on, field‐based role where you'll provide breakdown support, diagnostics, servicing and preventative maintenance across JCB construction, agricultural and industrial equipment.
n
With approximately 90% of your time spent in the field, you'll work directly with customers across the region while being supported by our experienced supervisors, technical specialists and national coordination team.
n
You'll also be equipped with a fully maintained service vehicle,



modern tooling and mobile technology to effectively manage your day.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns in the field
n
Completing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
n
Fault finding across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
n
Carrying out repairs and component replacements
n
Working directly with customers to provide safe and professional service
n
Collaborating with technical teams on complex repairs and diagnostics
n

About You
n
n
Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification
n
Experience with heavy commercial vehicles, mobile plant, construction, agricultural or materials handling equipment
n
Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
Previous field service experience highly regarded
n
OEM/dealership or JCB experience advantageous
n
Current Australian driver's licence and full working rights
n
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
