Position Details
n
The House Coordinator is a key leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Supported Independent Living (SIL) home located within Adelaide's eastern and north-eastern suburbs.
n
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for supporting a team of Community Support Workers while ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for clients, compliance with NDIS requirements and the smooth operation of the home.
n
This role combines dedicated administration time with direct client-facing support shifts, providing an opportunity to lead by example and remain actively involved in service delivery.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Coordinating daily operations within the SIL home.
n
Providing leadership, guidance and support to Community Support Workers.
n
Promoting a positive team culture focused on person-centred support.
n
Maintaining accurate documentation, client records and compliance requirements.
n
Monitoring and supporting client goals, wellbeing and quality outcomes.
n
Liaising with families, guardians, allied health professionals and external stakeholders.
n
Assisting with roster coverage and service continuity when required.
n
Leading by example through active participation in support shifts.
n
n
Your Availability
n
This position is worked across a 24/7 roster and requires flexibility to undertake:
n
n
Morning shifts.
n
Day shifts.
n
Afternoon and evening shifts.
n
Weekend shifts.
n
Public holiday shifts when rostered.
n
Passive sleepover shifts.
n
This role includes a combination of dedicated administrative hours, which may be completed at the SIL home or DLi's Head Office, together with direct client-facing support shifts. As this is a participant-facing role with rostered support responsibilities, opportunities for flexible work arrangements are limited and subject to operational requirements.

About You
n
The ideal candidate will be an experienced disability support professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and developing strong,
capable teams.
n
You will demonstrate:
n
n
Previous experience within Supported Independent Living or disability services.
n
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
n
Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
n
A commitment to person-centred practice and human rights principles.
n
Confidence managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
n
n
Essential Requirements:
n
n
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification.
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Current Working with Children Check.
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
n
Current Medication Administration training.
n
Current Manual Handling training.
n
Mealtime Management training.
n
Infection Control training.
n
NDIS Quality, Safety and You Certificate.
n
Full Australian Driver's Licence.
n
Evidence of working rights within Australia.
n
Strong computer literacy and administration skills.
n
n
Highly Desirable:
n
n
Experience in a leadership, senior support worker or coordinator role.
n
Experience supporting clients with complex support, health or behavioural needs.
n
CPI, MAPA or similar behaviour support training.
n
Experience working within SIL environments.
n
n
