OVERVIEW The Australian National University is seeking a Senior Manager - Horizon Europe Strategic Partnerships for a full time fixed-term appointment of two years based in Canberra, ACT. This senior role focuses on leading engagement with the European Union Horizon Europe Program and strengthening international research partnerships across europe and beyond. The position supports the identification, development, and coordination of major collaborative research opportunities, particularly within Horizon Europe Pillar II. The role also works closely with researchers and external stakeholders to advance strategic partnerships and collaborative research initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Lead ANU engagement with the Horizon Europe Program
Advance the university's strategic international research partnerships
Provide institutional leadership for identifying and developing major international research collaborations
Coordinate international research collaborations with a focus on Horizon Europe Pillar II opportunities
Support the establishment of high-impact, multi-partner research consortia
Build relationships with international universities, research organisations, government agencies, industry partners, and funding bodies




Support ANU researchers to secure and lead major international collaborative research programsCoordinate strategic partnerships connected to international research activity
Requirements
Ability to lead engagement with the Horizon Europe Program
Experience supporting international research partnerships and collaborations
Capacity to coordinate major multi-partner research initiatives

Ability to support researchers pursuing major international collaborative research programs
