Located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula, RACV Cape Schanck Resort offers the opportunity to work in a premium hospitality environment surrounded by coastal walks, breathtaking ocean views and world-class wineries.
We're currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Attendants to join our busy culinary team on a casual basis. We are particularly interested in candidates who are available to work morning shifts from 7:00am onwards.

About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Steward, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchens by maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work environment.
Working across our main production kitchen, restaurant outlets and conference and event spaces, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
Cleaning dishes, cookware, crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment
Operating commercial dishwashing equipment
Assisting with food preparation and ingredient assembly as required
Supporting kitchen and scullery operations
Safely handling and storing cleaning chemicals
Assisting with waste disposal and movement of catering equipment
Completing scheduled deep cleaning tasks
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Supporting chefs and fellow team members where required
What You'll Need to Be Successful
Previous kitchen attendant, stewarding, cleaning or hospitality experience will be highly regarded
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
The ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and follow instructions
Good communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team
Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and remain on your feet for extended periods
Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
Availability to work morning shifts from 7:00am onwards
Full Australian working rights
The following would be advantageous:
Experience using commercial dishwashing equipment
Experience working in a hotel, resort or large hospitality venue
Casual employment with regular shifts available
