About the role:
n
As an AHP2 Audiologist within the SALHN casual pool, you will provide evidence-based audiological services to a diverse patient population. Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments including pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and speech audiometry
n
Provide hearing rehabilitation advice and support, including hearing device orientation and counselling
n
Collaborate with ENT, medical, and allied health colleagues on complex cases
n
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and contribute to departmental quality improvement activities.
n
n
About you:
n
n
Post or Undergraduate Graduate Qualification in Audiology or an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for Association membership with Audiology Australia
n
Written and oral communication skills which result in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people
n
Interpersonal skills which foster the co-operation and support of others
n
Ability to work on an independent basis and achieve high level of self-motivation and initiative
n
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and foster teamwork
n
Demonstrated competence in audiological techniques appropriate to the patient population at FMC, with a willingness to work in the clinical area of cochlear implantation, vestibular and/or evoked potential assessment
n
n
Experience in cochlear implant assessment/mapping and or vestibular assessment is desirable but not essential.
n
