The Opportunity Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Consultant Anaesthetist
to join a progressive regional referral service in Victoria.
This is an excellent opportunity for a
FANZCA-qualified Anaesthetist or doctor approaching Fellowship
to join an experienced, consultant-led department offering a broad and rewarding clinical case mix.
The role provides exposure to
major elective and emergency surgery, obstetrics, trauma and critical care
, together with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests in
Perioperative Medicine, Pain Medicine, Regional Anaesthesia and medical education
.
Whether you are an established Consultant seeking a long-term regional position or approaching Fellowship and looking to broaden your experience, this role offers excellent clinical diversity, professional support and opportunities for career development.
Your Clinical Practice Will Include
General Surgery
Orthopaedics
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
ENT
Urology
Vascular Surgery
Paediatrics
Ophthalmology
Endoscopy
Emergency and trauma surgery
Perioperative medicine
Regional anaesthesia
You will work closely with
Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Critical Care and surgical teams
to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care.

About You To Be Considered, You Will Have
FANZCA or be close to completing Fellowship
Eligibility for, or ability to obtain, specialist registration with AHPRA
Broad clinical Anaesthetics experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to high-quality patient care
An interest in teaching and career development
Experience or an interest in
Perioperative Medicine, Pain Medicine, Regional Anaesthesia, education or service development
will be highly regarded.
