A well-established and growing Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a close-knit finance team. The role will play a key part in financial reporting, controls and providing insights, with genuine scope to grow into a leadership position.

The Prospect
n
Working closely with the Head of Finance and broader business, you'll take ownership of financial reporting, maintain financial integrity and contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

The Role
n

Prepare monthly financial and statutory reporting
n
Provide analysis and commercial insights
n
Manage tax compliance, including BAS and FBT
n
Oversee reconciliations and financial accuracy
n
Lead the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
n
Drive process and finance improvements
n
n




About You
n
n
CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar accounting role
n
Strong financial reporting and month-end experience
n
Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
n
Emerging leadership capability
n
High attention to detail, with accuracy critical in all aspects of work
n
Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
