We are a global leader in metal cutting tools and machining solutions, and we are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our South Australian team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machinist, Toolmaker, Fitter & Turner, CNC Programmer or cutting-tool professional looking to move into a technical sales career.
n
Extensive sales experience is not essential. If you understand machining, enjoy solving technical problems and are confident dealing with people, we want to hear from you.

The Role
n
Working directly with our manufacturing and engineering customers, you will:
n
Manage and develop existing customer relationships
n
Identify new customers, markets and sales opportunities
n
Provide technical solutions across turning, milling, drilling and other machining applications
n
Conduct tooling trials and help customers improve productivity, tool life and machining costs
n
Introduce new cutting-tool technologies and products
n
Work closely with Sales Managers,



Product Managers and technical specialists
n
Develop your territory and increase market share
n
About You
n
Ideally, you will have a trade or technical background in CNC machining, fitting and turning, toolmaking or manufacturing.
n
You will bring:
n
Positive knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
A practical, problem-solving approach
n
Commercial awareness and a desire to develop business
n
Motivation to learn and build a long-term career
n
Previous cutting-tool or technical sales experienceis advantageous but not essential.
