Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety awareness.

Develop, coordinate, and monitor procedural systems, processes, and training in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
n
Conducting verification of competency assessments for all employees to ensure skill requirements are met.
n
Undertake regular inspections and task observations to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
n
Inspect and manage emergency equipment and systems in the underground environment.
n
n
Experience:
n
n
Underground production experience in a mechanised hard rock underground environment
n
Detailed working knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health and Safety (Mining) Regulations
n
Demonstrated experience in competency based training and assessment methods
n
Previous exposure to incident investigation, auditing processes and workplace inspections
n




Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships within all levels of the business
n
Intermediate competency in excel and presentation applications
n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
n
Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (essential)
n
Minimum "C" class Manual unencumbered drivers licence
n
n
