We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Greek Speaking Support Worker to join our growing team across Sydney. This casual position is ideal for someone passionate about providing person-centred care while supporting participants in a culturally inclusive and respectful environment.

As a Greek Speaking Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes and within the community, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while building meaningful relationships with participants and their families.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide personal care and support in clients' homes.
n
Assist with showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
n
Complete domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
n
Assist with medication prompting and support.
n
Support clients with daily living activities and community participation.
n
Transport clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social outings.
n
Provide companionship and emotional support.
n
Maintain accurate progress notes and required documentation.
n
Support clients to achieve their individual goals and maximise independence.

Requirements
n
n
Ability to communicate fluently in Greek and English.
n




Experience in disability support, aged care, or community services (preferred).
n
Certificate III or higher in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services, or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
n
Minimum six months' experience providing personal care (preferred).
n
Understanding of person-centred care practices.
n
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
n
Current National Police Check.
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
Driver's Licence and own fully insured vehicle (preferred).
n
Smartphone capable of installing workplace applications.
n
Completion of the NDIS New Worker Orientation Module, or willingness to complete during induction.
n
Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently and within a team.
n
Experience supporting elderly Greek-speaking participants.
n
Experience supporting clients living with dementia or complex care needs.
n
Medication administration competency.
n
Robust understanding of culturally sensitive and inclusive care practices.
n
