A leader at our Residential Care Homes, as a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct and comprehensive care to our residents, while supporting Enrolled Nurses and Residential Care Workers on shift.
Key Responsibilities
You'll Also Make An Impact By
Using evidence-based approaches to deliver quality care to residents
Ensuring assigned resident care is performed in line with care standards and Helping Hand policies and procedures
Conducting assessments, reviews, coordinate care plans and medical/clinical interventions
Liaising with family members, doctors, care workers and allied health professionals to support the wellbeing of the residents
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor of Nursing qualification
A current AHPRA registration
The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
Minimum of 6-12 months of work experience (experience in aged care is highly regarded)
Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
The ability to contribute to a team, while demonstrating leadership skills to support and develop staff
Demonstrated ability to make decisions, take initiative and work independently
Experience with dementia care
