We are looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join a reputable construction company in the inner western suburbs.

The role:
n
With a initial focus on preparing accurate BOQs and supporting the tendering process, you will build trust within the team and demonstrate your ability, you'll have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility across estimating, tender preparation and project opportunities.
n
You will work across a variety of sectors, giving you exposure to different project types, clients and construction requirements.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Preparing accurate and detailed BOQs
n
Reviewing plans, drawings and project documentation
n
Assisting with cost planning and estimating
n
Supporting the preparation and submission of tendersObtaining and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Identifying scope gaps,



risks and opportunities
n
Working closely with the construction and estimating teams
n
Contributing to one tender per team each month
n
Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
n
n

Highly organised and detail-oriented
n
Commercially minded with robust attention to detail
n
Confident reading plans, drawings and specifications
n
Reliable and accountable
n
A strong communicator who works well within a team
n
Keen to develop their skills and take on increasing responsibility
