About the role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated machinist who can demonstrate experience in small to large scale CNC jobbing work. This role offers exposure to modern equipment and the prospect to progress into a senior position.

Key responsibilities
n
CNC setting, operating and programming
n
Jobbing and production machining
n
Heavy and precision machining work
n
Program with SolidCAM and Celos conversational software
n
Process improvement and tooling development
n
Train and lead apprentices
n
Problem solve and implement change in machining processes
n
Exposure to CNC automation and robotics Fanuc cell
n
About you
n
Trade qualified machinist
n
Strong CNC machining background
n
Able to set and operate CNC machines confidently
n
Experience in both small to large jobbing work
n
Exposure to machining of 1t – 12t gear boxes
n
Interest in programming and process improvement
n
Experience with
automation/robotics
n
Good problem-solving skills and team attitude
n
Australian trade qualification
n
Driver's licence
