About Halifax Early Learning

Situated in the southeast corner of the Adelaide CBD, Halifax Early Learning has provided early childhood education and care since ****. We are a not-for-profit, community managed incorporated early childhood service. We provide a nurturing setting where our children, aged 6 weeks to school age, are seen as capable, curious learners, and educators are co-researchers in their journey. Our aim is to embrace the Reggio Emilia Approach, creating environments that spark wonder, foster relationships, and celebrate each child's unique potential. The Centre enjoys a positive reputation amongst its current and past clients, the local community and within the education community.

Role Purpose

As Centre Director, you will:

Lead and inspire a dedicated team of educators.
n
Foster a warm, inclusive,



and collaborative culture for children, families, and staff.
n
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, play-based, and inquiry-led programs.
n
Oversee daily operations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
n
Build strong connections with families and the wider community.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
n
Proven leadership experience in an early learning setting.
n
Deep understanding of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
n
Strong communication, organisational, and mentoring skills.
n
A genuine passion for empowering children and educators alike.
