We are partnering with an established, independently owned investment management firm seeking a Business Development Associate to join its Adviser Distribution team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for

to build a long‐term career in funds management while gaining exposure to advisers, clients, and senior commercial leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new business opportunities, including financial advisers and retail distribution channels
Conduct outbound calls and support relationship‐building with prospective clients
Assist with client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
Research market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities in the Australian investment landscape
Support client retention initiatives, including events, webinars, and client meetings




Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare sales activity and performance reports
About You
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline
1–3 years' experience in business development, sales, or a client‐facing role
Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
Genuine interest in financial markets and investment products
Highly organised, proactive, and keen to learn in a fast‐paced environment
