As the Professional Experience Support Officer, you will play an integral role in coordinating student Career-ready Placement activities that align with academic program requirements. Working closely with academic leads, placement organisations, and students, you'll ensure smooth planning, scheduling, and administration of placements across a variety of disciplines.

In This Role You Will
n
n
Process placement applications, surveys and placement completions with the ability to manage issues as they arise during the placement process.
n
Oversee a variety of student placement activities such as professional work placements, fieldwork, international experiences, project work and research centres.
n
Maintain and nurture strong working relationships with academic staff and industry partners to ensure the successful delivery of placements.
n
Be student focused in providing a positive and supportive environment throughout the placement process
n
Have great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities to help deliver high-quality placement experiences that prepare students for their professional careers.
n

You Will
n
n
Coordinate and manage multiple placement-related activities, ensuring deadlines are met and competing priorities are effectively balanced.
n
Provide high-quality administrative support for student professional experience and placement programs, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
n
Build and maintain positive relationships with students, academic staff, and external placement partners to support successful placement outcomes.
n
Work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to clear communication, shared goals, and a culture of mutual respect.
n
Adapt to changing priorities and requirements, responding proactively to the needs of stakeholders and placement programs.
n
Utilise a range of corporate systems and digital platforms, including Microsoft Office and student placement management systems, to support efficient program delivery.
n
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with university policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
n
n
This is a full time, continuing position, at HEW 5 and will be located at the Callaghan or Gosford Campus (Awabakal and Darkinjung land).
