An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior NetSuite Developer to join a rapidly growing international organisation and take a leading role in the development of its Finance Systems environment.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being close to the technology while also understanding the commercial and accounting processes behind it. You'll work with Finance and Technology stakeholders to turn business problems into practical NetSuite solutions and help shape how the platform evolves as the organisation continues to scale.
What you'll be doing
You'll become a key technical owner for the NetSuite environment, with a particular focus on improving financial processes, automation and system performance.
Your day-to-day will include:
Designing and developing new NetSuite functionality using SuiteScript 2.x
Automating repetitive Finance processes and improving the efficiency of month-end activities
Building and enhancing workflows, searches, reports and integrations
Working closely with Finance users to understand requirements and turn them into effective technical solutions
Taking ownership of development work from initial idea through to release
Reviewing proposed solutions and identifying potential accounting, controls or audit implications
Supporting a NetSuite OneWorld environment spanning multiple entities and currencies
Helping establish strong development, testing and documentation practices
Working with an international Systems team and contributing to broader platform and integration decisions
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers
What we're looking for




We're interested in speaking with experienced NetSuite developers who can operate comfortably across both technology and Finance.
You'll ideally have:
At least 5 years' NetSuite development experience
Strong practical experience with SuiteScript 2.x
Experience across SuiteFlow, SuiteQL and Saved Searches
A good understanding of how Finance processes operate within NetSuite
Experience working with areas such as GL, journals, revenue recognition, intercompany and multi-currency
A track record of improving or automating financial processes
Experience taking development initiatives through requirements, build, testing, UAT and deployment
The confidence to challenge requirements and suggest better technical approaches where appropriate
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions and locations
Experience with some of the following would be highly regarded:
NetSuite OneWorld across multiple subsidiaries
Finance systems implementations or migrations
Audit and statutory reporting environments
Celigo or other NetSuite integration platforms
BigQuery
Integrations with platforms such as Stripe, Airwallex or Shopify
