Our client, a well-established civil infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an immediate start on a project based in the Blue Mountains. This is a temp/contract role initially for 6 months+, with solid potential for extension.

Job Description

Working closely with the site team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering delivery of civil works, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on program and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage and coordinate day-to-day site engineering activities
n
Set out and survey works, quality checks and inspections
n
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the broader project team
n
Ensure compliance with design documentation, specifications and drawings
n
Monitor and report on progress against program
n
Support the Project Engineer/Site Manager on all civil works elements
n
Uphold safety, quality and environmental standards on site
n

About You
n
n




Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
n
Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, earthworks or similar)
n
Strong understanding of civil construction methodology and QA processes
n
Experience with setout, survey equipment and reading civil drawings
n
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work well within a site team
n
Locally based or willing to travel to the Blue Mountains daily
n
Valid driver's licence and White Card
n
