Head of Credit & Receivables | Sydney Tools

Sydney Tools is looking for an experienced Head of Credit & Receivables to lead and strengthen our broader credit and receivables function.
n
With 128 stores and more than 1,500 team members nationally, this is a key leadership position with responsibility across credit management, accounts receivable, collections, risk, controls and team performance.
n
Reporting into senior Finance leadership, you will lead a team of approximately 10 and take ownership of how the business manages customer credit, outstanding debt and the continued development of our credit processes.

The role:
n
n
Lead, develop and drive performance across a Credit & Receivables team of approximately 10
n
Oversee the end-to-end credit management and collections function
n
Manage customer credit risk, credit limits, approvals and escalations
n
Drive improvements across ageing, overdue debt, recovery strategies and cash collection
n
Strengthen credit controls, policies, processes and reporting
n
Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging credit risks
n
Build greater accountability, capability and consistency across the team
n
Partner closely with Finance, Sales and senior leadership
n
Identify opportunities to improve systems,



automation and operational efficiency
n

About you:
n
You will be an experienced credit, receivables or collections leader who is comfortable taking ownership of a broad function.
n
You'll bring strong people leadership skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to balance effective credit control with maintaining positive customer and internal stakeholder relationships.
n
Experience leading teams within a high-volume, multi-site or complex commercial setting will be highly regarded.
n
Experience managing or working with offshore finance, credit or receivables teams will be highly advantageous.
