The firm is looking for an experienced Senior Associate who can operate autonomously while also contributing to the leadership and ongoing development of the team
n
n
About the role:
n
n
Manage a range of commercial, construction and engineering litigation matters.
n
Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
n
Represent clients in Court, brief counsel and manage matters through the litigation process.
n
Independently manage files while supervising broader projects and legal matters.
n
Mentor and train junior lawyers and support staff.
n
Assist with workload management, team capacity and billing requirements.




n
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
n
Contribute to networking, business development, seminars and practice growth initiatives.
n
n
The ideal candidate:
n
n
Senior Associate with 5+ years' PQE in commercial litigation, ideally with exposure to construction and/or engineering disputes.
n
Experience across private practice and/or an in-house corporate environment.
n
The ability to independently manage complex matters and competing priorities.
n
Strong commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
n
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
n
A proactive approach with a genuine interest in mentoring, leadership and business development. Genuine drive to learn, develop and succeed in property law. Down to earth with a bubbly personality who can work well alone and within the team.
