Job Description
The Successful candidates will need to undertake and possess:

Prepare commercial and industrial surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and masking before painting.
n
Perform abrasive blasting using copper slag to remove rust, mill scale, old paint, and contaminants from steel and other structural surfaces.
n
Apply protective coatings, primers, undercoats, and finishing paints using brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment.
n
Paint structural steel, tanks, pipelines, buildings, and other commercial or industrial assets to specified standards.
n
Mix and match paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
n




Inspect prepared and painted surfaces to ensure quality, thickness, adhesion, and finish meet industry standards.
n
Operate, maintain, and clean painting and blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
n
Erect and work from ladders, scaffolding, elevated work platforms, or confined spaces while following workplace safety procedures.
n
Comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and environmental controls.
