This role is responsible for driving day-to-day WHS compliance, supporting a positive safety culture, and helping reduce workplace incidents and workers compensation claims across our retail network.
How You'll Add Value
Develop and deliver the Group-wide Retail Health & Safety strategy across multiple retail brands
Lead the Health & Safety and Workers Compensation programs, driving early intervention and injury prevention initiatives
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Group policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Foster a solid safety culture through leadership, coaching, accountability and continuous improvement
Drive reductions in LTIFR, TRIFR and workers compensation claims through proactive risk management
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
Partner with operational leaders to support their Health & Safety responsibilities and capability development
Oversee Health & Safety reporting, including Board-level insights, metrics and KPI performance
Design and deliver training programs that strengthen organisational capability and meet due diligence obligations
About You
Significant experience leading Health & Safety strategies and outcomes within a multi-site retail environment or comparable multi-site operation.




Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Workers Compensation frameworks
Proven success developing and implementing safety strategies across complex organisations
Experience managing claims, injury management and return-to-work programs
Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and influencing skills across all leadership levels
Data-driven with excellent analytical, problem-solving and reporting capabilities
Passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a positive safety culture
