The Opportunity

Our CSI team are looking for an experienced Engineer Mechanical to join a busy team at our team.
n
In this role, you will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to the maintenance and operations functions on all fixed plant equipment across the site.
n
The position is a permanent full-time role on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth.
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
Deliver fixed plant reliability, maintenance, and engineering support
n
Ensure fixed plant maintenance strategies are implemented, optimised, and managed
n
Collaborate with site and central support teams to develop innovative solutions whilst having a proactive approach to enhancing fixed plant maintenance equipment reliability and loss elimination
n
Identify and manage fixed plant reliability risk and life cycle asset management
n




Development of strategies to increase equipment availability and reliability
n
Providing site technical support when needed
n
Reporting for reliability, maintenance, and fixed plant operations at Onslow Port.
n
Assistance with identification, review and management of critical spares
n
n
What you'll bring:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar
n
A minimum of 5 years prior experience in a similar role within the resources industry
n
Extensive experience with fixed plant mining/materials handling/equipment reliability
n
Detailed knowledge of mining/port operating environments
n
Experience with bulk materials handling machines (stackers, reclaimers, and shiploaders), whilst not necessarily, is highly desirable
n
Safety first attitude
n
Solution focused mindset with the ability to be adaptable
n
Able to work autonomously
n
Excellent problem-solving skills
