Job Description
The Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Driver / Screw Pile Installer to join our growing team at IdealCorp. Based out of our Smithfield yard, you will be delivering and installing screw piles across construction projects throughout Greater Sydney and along the east coast.
This is a hands-on, all-rounder role. You may be behind the wheel, on the machine, or on the tools depending on where the job needs you. If you take pride in a hard day's work, thrive on a construction site, and want to be part of a crew that backs each other, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Driving HR/MR vehicles to and from construction sites across Greater Sydney
Assisting with and performing screw pile installation works
Operating or assisting around excavators and auger drives
Working to set-out points and reading site drawings when required
Recording pier depths, torque readings, and site assessments
Providing general installation support and labouring as needed
Carrying out basic mechanical troubleshooting on equipment and attachments
Completing daily machinery checks to keep gear in working order
What We're Looking For
Current HR licence (minimum requirement)
Strong attention to safety, reliability, and a positive attitude on site
Ability to commit to early starts and extended site days when required
Desirable
Excavator ticket or solid hands-on experience operating excavators
Background in civil, construction, piling, or foundations work
Mechanically minded and able to identify and address basic equipment issues
Ability to read plans and work confidently to set-out points
