Mustard Seed Christian Childcare exists to help local churches reach their communities with the good news of Jesus Christ, and to provide high quality, Christian early childhood education and childcare.
n
We are opening current services and looking for the right person to lead those teams. We are looking for centre directors in each ofPort Kembla, andLindfield.
n
Role Overview:
n
The Directoris responsible for the overall leadership, operation, and educational excellence of a centre. Theywill ensure a safe, compliant, and high-quality learning environment while mentoring and supporting educators to deliver outstanding outcomes for children.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Lead day-to-day operations at a centre.
n
Drive pedagogical excellence, including curriculum development, documentation of children's learning, and embedding critical reflection and quality improvement
n
Mentor, coach, and support educators to enhance professional capability and confidence
n
Oversee operational compliance, regulatory requirements, and service administration, with support from head office
n
Maintain a positive, collaborative team culture aligned with the Christian values of Mustard Seed Christian Childcare
n
Ensure continuity of care through limited on-the-floor responsibilities as required
n
n
Key Attributes / Skills:

Strong time management, prioritisation,
and organisational skills

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
n
Motivated, independent, and proactive approach to leadership

Relational leadership style, fostering respect, encouragement, and accountability

Qualifications:
n
n
ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification (or equivalent)
n
Teacher accreditation with NESA
n
Prescribed child protection and child safety training (or willingness to obtain)
n
Approved first aid, anaphylaxis, and emergency asthma management training (or willingness to obtain)
n
n
