Fixed Income and Currencies brings together top-tier sales, trading, structuring and research teams across Credit, Emerging Markets, Foreign Exchange, and Rates. We empower clients to achieve their financial goals by offering tailored solutions to manage risk, secure funding, and access liquidity.
About the role:
Launch your career in Fixed Income via our Direct-to-Desk Graduate Program. Following an extensive Orientation and Training program, you will join your team and gain immediate, hands-on experience. Work alongside industry experts to solve real-world client challenges and drive market innovation, contributing to the team from Day 1.
We are seeking motivated and intellectually curious graduates to join our
Australia Rates Trading
team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on a fast-paced trading desk, gaining exposure to Australian and global interest rate markets while developing deep expertise in macroeconomics, market microstructure, and risk management. Graduates will be immersed in real trading activity from day one, supporting senior traders and eventually taking responsibility for pricing, hedging, and managing risk positions across interest rate products.

What we look for:
Keen interest in global financial markets
Excellent critical thinking, problem solving skills, analytical ability and teamwork capabilities
Possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail with the ability to perform under pressure
Proven academic excellence, with a preference of degree in Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
Programming skills (Python, VBA, or SQL) are advantageous
To be eligible for the **** Graduate Program you must:
Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January **** and 31st January ****
Be able to start full-time work in February ****,



subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
Possess no more than 12 months' relevant full-time work experience
