About The Role
n
The Facilities Support Manager is responsible for the overall coordination, support, and management of all Mount Monger camp accommodation facilities, surrounding infrastructure and associated services to ensure a safe, clean, compliant, and efficient environment for all personnel, contractors, and visitors.
n
The role oversees camp operations including accommodation management, housekeeping, catering coordination, facility maintenance, wet mess/bar operations, utilities, hygiene standards, contractor supervision, and customer service.
n
The Facilities Support Manager is responsible for ensuring all camp operations comply with relevant Work Health and Safety legislation, company policies, liquor licensing requirements, and site-specific standards.
n
This role also provides leadership to camp personnel and contractors while promoting a positive culture focused on safety, professionalism, wellbeing, and operational excellence. This role is offered on a 8/6 FIFO Roster only.
n
Key Accountabilities
n
n
Oversee day-to-day operations of the camp and accommodation facilities including being on call during rostered swing
n
Coordinate room allocations, camp occupancy, arrivals, departures, and accommodation scheduling.
n
Ensure camp facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene,
and presentation. (including water supply and management)
n
Monitor and coordinate maintenance requirements for buildings, utilities, plant, equipment, and camp infrastructure.
n
Manage camp inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
n
Coordinate contractors and service providers associated with camp operations (plumbing / electrical / carpenters / locksmiths / maintenance / rubbish)
n
Ensure all camp assets and facilities are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.
n
Monitor camp consumables, stock levels, and ordering requirements.
n
n
Wet Mess / Bar Management
n
n
Manage wet mess and recreational facility operations in accordance with liquor licensing requirements.
n
Ensure responsible service of alcohol practices are maintained at all times.
n
Supervise bar personnel and ensure compliance with Approved Manager responsibilities.
n
Monitor stock control, ordering, storage, and reconciliation of alcohol and consumables.
n
Manage patron behaviour and enforce camp code of conduct requirements.
n

Leadership & Supervision
n
n
Supervise camp personnel including cleaners, cooks, utility staff, bar staff, and maintenance contractors.
n
Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to camp employees.
n
Conduct toolbox meetings and staff briefings.
n
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of camp personnel.
n
Promote a respectful, positive, and inclusive workplace culture.
n

Administration & Reporting
n
n
Maintain camp records, inspections, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
n
Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
n
Assist with budgeting, cost control, and purchasing activities.
n
Maintain records associated with accommodation, incidents, inspections, and contractor management
n
n
What You Bring
n
n
Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence
n
Senior First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid – HLTAID011 or equivalent)
n
Approved Manager Certification / Approved Manager Bar Card
n
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
n
National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
n
Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation.
n
Strong understanding of the principles of confidentiality and business ethics.
n
Demonstrated professional written and oral skills so the transition of information, concepts, ideas and instructions to others is clear
n
Process driven with solid attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
n
Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email and use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
n
Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively.
n
Willingness to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
n

All candidates must supply a recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old) and have the ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug/alcohol screening.
