Village Garden and Maintenance Team Member - Leading Hand

We are currently seeking an exceptional Village Garden and Maintenance Team Member to join our team at the Lake Joondalup Lifestyle Village in Ashby, as a Leading Hand. We are adynamic company that has a passion for developing and operating land lease lifestyle communities. With over 20 villages across Australia, our vision is to provide affordable resort living in a safe community of like-minded people.

To be successful in this role you will be required to demonstrate the following:
n
Provide direction, guidance, and oversight to team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and to required standards
n
Coordinate and supporting the smooth delivery of daily landscaping, gardening and maintenance tasks.
n
Knowledge of pool water testing and routine pool maintenance, including chemical balancing and general upkeep of pool facilities
n
Previous experience, skills and knowledge in grounds, garden and facilities maintenance (desirable)
n
Exceptional organisational skills
n
Friendly, respectful and explicit communication with homeowners,



team members and managers
n
A highly motivated self-starter who works effectively and collaboratively with other team members and management
n
Previous maintenance experience in a lifestyle village/caravan park/retirement village will be highly regarded
n
Reliable and punctual, ready to show up consistently for your fellow teammates
n
Ability to complete tasks effectively, efficiently and have the initiative to proactively identify maintenance needs
n
Report risks and hazards in the workplace to ensure a safe environment and culture
n
Current driver's licence
n
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a National Police Check Clearance as a condition of employment
