This involves ensuring imported cargo meets strict biosecurity requirements by coordinating inspections, treatments, container cleaning and clearance processes, while working closely with customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and operational teams.

Flexibility
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with a 7:00am start.
Finish times may vary depending on the operational requirements of the day.
You will need to be flexible and understand that the workload can change depending on customer requirements, cargo movements, inspections and daily deadlines.
Responsibilities
Coordinating biosecurity and customs requirements for incoming containers and cargo
Coordinating container bookings, inspections and clearance
Liaising with customs brokers, freight forwarders and customers
Monitoring incoming cargo and ensuring required processes are followed
Coordinating biosecurity inspections and container unpack requirements
Coordinating fumigation and wash bay requirements
Coordinating container washing and clearance
Managing customs and biosecurity documentation
Following up customs, biosecurity and operational issues
Resolving customer-related issues and enquiries
Working closely with warehouse, transport and operations teams
Assisting with audits and compliance activities
