Pharmacy 777 Golden Grove is seeking an enthusiastic Dispense Technician Operations Manager to become a key member of our pharmacy team.
n
This is an prospect to step beyond a traditional Dispensary technician role into a broader position supporting the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy across dispensing, retail operations, inventory management and administration.
n
You will work closely with the Pharmacist Managers and Proprietors, helping the pharmacy operate efficiently, leading by example and contributing practical ideas for improvement.
n
Approximately 70% of the role involves retail operations, inventory management, administration and operational support, with around 30% involving dispensing support.
n
About the role
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Manage stock ordering and inventory.
n
Support productive dispensing workflow and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist checking.
n
Maintain a professional, organised and well-presented retail environment.
n
Coordinate pharmacy administration and operational systems.
n
Contribute to the implementation of pharmacy services and operational initiatives.
n
Provide day-to-day guidance and practical support to pharmacy technicians and students.
n
Lead by example through professionalism, organisation and teamwork.
n
Identify operational issues and contribute practical ideas to improve workflow, organisation and efficiency.
n

About you
n
This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, being well organised, supporting others to succeed and using their voice constructively.
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Previous community pharmacy experience
n
Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy, an equivalent qualification, or relevant pharmacy technician experience
n
Experience using pharmacy dispensing software
n
Sound knowledge of community pharmacy operations
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
Excellent attention to detail
n
The ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
n
A positive, reliable and professional approach
n
The confidence to take initiative, communicate constructively and recognise when guidance is required
n
A genuine commitment to providing excellent patient and customer service
n
n
Experience with Minfos and pharmacy services would be advantageous but is not essential.
